Add vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic lights

drawtonomy ships templates for the actors and traffic elements you need in driving scenarios.

  1. Press P to open Participants.
  2. Pick a vehicle template (Sedan, Bus, Truck, Motorcycle).
  3. Click on the canvas to place. The vehicle drops at its template default size.

Drag a corner handle to resize. Drag the rotation handle to align it with a lane.

In the same Participants menu, pick a pedestrian template (Walking, Simple).

The Participants menu also includes vehicle and pedestrian signals. Place them at intersection corners. They are static shapes; they don’t run a signal phase.

You can add your own SVG templates and contribute them by PR. See the Template Guide.

To place a row of vehicles along a path (for headway diagrams or follow-the-leader scenes), use Path Footprint.
