drawtonomy vs RoadRunner

MathWorks RoadRunner automated driving systems को simulate और test करने के लिए 3D scenes design करने का interactive editor है। RoadRunner Scenario के साथ मिलकर यह HD-map authoring से लेकर dynamic scenario creation तक पूरा workflow cover करता है, और professional ADAS / AD teams के बीच यह एक standard tool है।

Licensing

RoadRunner एक commercial MathWorks product है। कई universities campus-wide MathWorks licenses के ज़रिए access देती हैं, इसलिए पहले यह देखना सही रहेगा कि आपके institution में यह पहले से उपलब्ध है या नहीं। Academia के बाहर यह paid license पर मिलता है।

drawtonomy driving diagrams के लिए browser-based व्हाइटबोर्ड है। इसके exporter documentation के अनुसार, इसका OpenDRIVE 1.8 / OpenSCENARIO 1.3 export spec का एक subset cover करता है — उदाहरण के लिए, यह अभी OpenDRIVE junction primitives या traffic signs को <signal> entries के रूप में emit नहीं करता, और OpenSCENARIO storyboard support सीमित है (conditional triggers, parameter sweeps, या complex acts नहीं)। ये roadmap में listed हैं।

ASAM ecosystem में साथ-साथ

RoadRunner और drawtonomy दोनों एक ही ASAM standards — OpenSCENARIO और OpenDRIVE — को target करते हैं। सिद्धांत में एक tool के files दूसरे में खोले जा सकते हैं, और दोनों playback के लिए esmini को export करते हैं। OpenSCENARIO और OpenDRIVE community अपेक्षाकृत छोटी है, और इसमें योगदान देने वाले tools — RoadRunner, drawtonomy, Truevision Designer, LaneMaker, Blender DSC, scenariogeneration, esmini — सब scenario-based testing को ज़्यादा accessible बनाने के एक ही लक्ष्य के लिए काम करते हैं। हम एक ही ecosystem के अलग-अलग हिस्सों पर काम करते हैं।
