ब्राउज़र में Lanelet2 maps edit करना

Lanelet2 maps author करने के standard tools हैं:

  • TIER IV Vector Map Builder — free, browser-based, Autoware के लिए designed, regulatory elements (traffic lights, stop lines, crosswalks, parking, …) और point cloud reference layer के साथ lanes support करता है।
  • JOSM with Autoware Lanelet2 plugin — Lanelet2 के लिए extended classic desktop OSM editor।

किसी भी non-trivial Lanelet2 work के लिए, वे right tools हैं। drawtonomy scope में बहुत narrower है।

drawtonomy वास्तव में Lanelet2 के साथ क्या करता है

इसके exporter documentation के अनुसार:

  • Lanelet2 .osm file reads करता है और lanelets को drawtonomy Lane shapes के रूप में render करता है।
  • Boundaries reshape करने देता है (points drag करें, smooth boundaries, basic geometry edits)।
  • Result re-export करता है। Regulatory elements और अन्य tags जो drawtonomy UI में manage नहीं करता वे original .osm content को round-trip करने वाले sidecar के ज़रिए preserved होते हैं।

drawtonomy क्या नहीं करता

  • UI में regulatory elements create या edit करना — traffic-light groupings, right-of-way relations, speed limits, stop-line / lanelet bindings।
  • City-scale maps।
  • Survey-grade authoring LiDAR / aerial imagery के विरुद्ध।
  • Bulk operations — thousands of lanelets पर कोई filters, batch edits नहीं।
  • Point cloud reference layer।

drawtonomy अभी भी समय कहाँ save कर सकता है

  • कुछ install किए बिना Lanelet2 map को quickly inspect करना।
  • Light geometric tweaks — छोटे map पर wandered boundary fix करना, jagged segment smooth करना।
  • Paper figure या teaching example के लिए larger sample map से region crop करना।
  • Existing map के small piece का clean figure produce करना।

अगर आपके edit को regulatory elements की ज़रूरत है या आप city scale पर काम कर रहे हैं, Vector Map Builder या JOSM उपयोग करें।

Concrete workflow: small geometry fix

  1. Import → Lanelet2 OSM।
  2. Pan / zoom to the lanelet।
  3. Click to select; drag boundary control points; Smooth Boundary button उपयोग करें।
  4. Export → Lanelet2 OSM।
  5. Input और output diff करें यह confirm करने के लिए कि केवल intended changes हुए।

Sidecar mechanism का मतलब है tags और regulatory elements जो drawtonomy के UI scope से बाहर हैं वे re-export पर as-is preserved रहते हैं।
